DRIS — Drug Report Intelligence System

A complete GenTech AI healthcare intelligence ecosystem. Nineteen clinical modules across five capability groups in 58+ languages including all Pakistani regional dialects. Built on Claude Sonnet 4 with a multi-step agentic reasoning pipeline, live OpenFDA integration across three-million-plus FDA-published drug records, AES-256 encryption end-to-end, TLS 1.3, and SHA-256 document hashing on every secured export. WHO Compliant. HIPAA and GDPR aligned. Live v1.0.

DRIS is the procurement-ready surface for hospital networks, health ministries, regulatory bodies, and pharmaceutical companies who need one unified GenTech AI healthcare intelligence platform rather than a stack of disconnected vendor tools. The prototype below runs MedScan AI, the WHO-aligned drug-extraction module, against three pre-loaded pharmaceutical documents and produces the same structured DrugReport JSON that ships to live customers.

Integration is REST-first with the FastAPI server fronted behind Next.js 16 server components. The MedScan endpoint accepts .txt, .pdf, and .md uploads, validates a minimum content length, and dispatches to Claude Sonnet 4 with a strict-JSON system prompt and a three-stage repair parser. The full 19-module surface — Drug Search across three million OpenFDA records, Interaction Checker, Pregnancy Checker, Dosage Calculator, Doctor Notes Interpreter, Drug Safety Score, Identity Verification through NADRA and PMDC, the Global Regulatory Hub — is reachable from the same authenticated tenant.

Compliance and security

AES-256 end-to-end encryption. TLS 1.3 on every API hop. Per-tenant data isolation with zero-knowledge architecture. Every export carries a SHA-256 document hash, a unique read-only PDF identifier, and an anti-abuse watermark. Doctor credentials verified against PMDC, GMC, AMC, CPSO, HAAD and fifty-plus global medical councils in real time. Full HIPAA, GDPR, and WHO compliance posture documented per engagement.

For the clinician on the consultation floor, DRIS replaces the manual cross-referencing across OpenFDA, BNF, monograph databases, and prescribing handbooks. Upload any pharmaceutical document — a hospital pharmacy insert, an FDA monograph, a clinical brief, a manufacturer leaflet — and the MedScan module returns the full structured DrugReport in under one and a half seconds: generic name, alternative names, drug class, active ingredient, indications, adult and pediatric dosing, side effects, serious adverse events, contraindications, warnings, and a clinical AI summary.

For the pharmacist, the Drug Search module is a live OpenFDA window across three million-plus FDA-published drug records — not a cached subset. The Interaction Checker returns an instant Safe / Caution / Dangerous rating between any two drugs with clinical reasoning. The Pregnancy Checker returns Category A through X ratings. The Doctor Notes Interpreter decodes fifty-plus medical abbreviations (BD, TDS, PRN, QID, STAT, NPO, IV, IM) into plain language so the dispensing record is unambiguous. The Cost Comparison module surfaces generic-versus-brand pricing across pharmacy options.

For the pharmaceutical researcher, the structured extraction layer feeds straight into downstream analysis pipelines, mechanism-of-action comparison, compound-feasibility scoring, and cross-referencing against the consent-based anonymised patient outcome database.

For patients and families, DRIS removes the language barrier between the doctor's prescription and the household. Upload the prescription image, or paste the doctor's note, and the Prescription Analyzer decodes every medicine in plain language — what the drug is for, what it does, what to watch out for, what to avoid taking it with, and what to do if a dose is missed. Output is native to the patient's selected language, generated by Claude AI directly in that language rather than translated from English, with full clinical precision preserved.

The Medication Reminder builds the full dose timeline for the entire course — OD, BD, TDS, QID, PRN — with day-by-day tracking and an export-friendly schedule that family members can pin to a fridge or carry on a phone. The Drug Safety Score returns a visual risk scorecard for any prescription against the patient's age, liver function, kidney function, and clinical profile. The Pregnancy and Breastfeeding Checker returns the Category A-through-X safety rating before the patient takes the first dose.

Every output is exportable as a secured read-only PDF with a unique document identifier, a SHA-256 hash, and the DRIS letterhead — so the patient can share it with a different physician, a different pharmacy, or a relative abroad without losing clinical integrity.
